Chez Yasuko – Round 2
As many of you know, my wife is an incredible cook. There is not enough I can say about what a delight it is to eat her amazing food, almost every day (which is what I said last time, but it just keeps getting better). Her food is always a special treat; mouth-watering beautiful, whole-heartedly well balanced, and always has a simple Japanese sensibility, that she makes uniquely her own. We often joke that she has little interest in my photography, or art in general, but she herself truly is a master artist in the kitchen. I’ve watched her so many times, and there are so many little tiny details, and you can taste every one with bliss.
Its beyond word really…
…or even photos.
But here they are anyway, a heft installment of nearly 100 plates.
We are presently looking for a bigger place, with a bigger kitchen, where we can someday host some of you. If that comes, please come before the food is ready and learn from her how you can eat like this too. And if you want any recipes, don’t hesitate to ask. And if you have any ideas about sharing this, I’m all ears.

…so you’ve done all the photos…all you have to do now is write the recipes…send it to blurb…or chat-up Ota san at Sokyusha….call the book: Tasty Treasures from Yasuko’s Kitchen.

I keep coming back to the post and looking at a few photos at a time. It’s driving me crazy. It makes me instantly hungry and wondering why I’m not living in Asia, dammit.
