Chez Yasuko

My Lovely wife Yasuko is an absolutely incredible cook. I try to tell people but they just can’t understand. I can’t talk it up enough so I just decided to put up some photos. She is completely to be blamed for the ten pounds I have gained since getting married. But it is certainly worth it. Having said that, she has a great sense to always make healthy, really balanced, beautiful food. This is just some of it. Hands down one the the best perks of being married.

What could it be?
Oyakodon. 'Oyako' means family. 'Don' basically mean bowl. This is an egg and chicken rice bowl. and its good. Special Shichimi (seven spices) from Nagano in the background.

Great set of photos here…very cool to see what good work other people are cooking up, especially in such confined spaces. You are a lucky guy. As an aesthetic side note, I enjoyed the horizontal shots much more than the verticals, except in the case of #26 which has good depth due to the background lighting…keep on eating
